Our AmpliTrain is an EMS / EMA training device that uses a modulated medium frequency to train the body's muscles and at the same time activate the body's cells. This builds muscles and improves the body's metabolism.
EMS = electrical muscle stimulation and EMA = electrical muscle activation.
Both methods cause the muscle to contract with the help of electrical stimuli. If you do this with so-called stimulation current, it is traditionally referred to as EMS. This stimulates the motor nerves, which ultimately leads to muscle contraction.
One should note the considerable differences to other EMS devices. These are mainly due to the fact that the current flows permanently with the Amplitrain, which in turn leads to permanent cell activation. Other devices just switch the power on or off. These only move short “bumps”. As a result, a permanent depth effect, volume effect and cell activation are not guaranteed. The Amplitrain device triggers the desired muscle activation by modulating the current. As a result, the muscles are not only “controlled” via the motor nerve but are also activated directly.
“For soccer players, in addition to regular soccer training, additional fitness and strength training increases their performance. In addition to classic training in the weight room, EMS training with muscle stimulators is becoming more and more popular.
There are already various studies in this area that show that additional EMS training has positive effects on various skills of a football player.
In one study, for example, the influence of a 5-week EMS training program on strength development, shooting speed, sprinting skills and vertical jumping strength in footballers was examined. Twenty amateur soccer players took part in this study, 10 in the group who used EMS training and 10 others in the control group who did regular training without the use of muscle stimulators.
In the EMS group, an EMS program for the quadriceps, the anterior thigh muscles, was used for 5 weeks. The participants took a performance test before, during (week 3) and after the EMS training program. The maximum, independent contraction strength with different types of contraction (eccentric, concentric and isometric) was tested, as well as the vertical jumping force (jumped height), sprint over 10m and the ball speed when shooting.
The study found an increase in isometric and eccentric maximum knee extension torques at week 3, as well as an increase in ball speed for a shot without a run-up.
After 5 weeks of EMS training, a significant improvement in eccentric, isometric and concentric contractions could be demonstrated, as well as a significant increase in ball speed when firing.
In order to achieve positive effects from EMS training, this should be carried out at least over a period of 3-5 weeks in order to achieve an increase in performance for football-specific skills. Football players who do not want to train in a special EMS studio can also use EMS devices at home .
In professional football in particular, the physical requirements have increased over the years. An optimal training design is therefore a great challenge for all football coaches and the corresponding fitness and strength trainers.
Modern football is characterized by high speed in the individual actions, short, explosive sprints, jumps and rapid changes of direction in combination with a high basic speed in the actions. Maximum strength also plays an increasingly important role. It has been shown that EMS training can improve many of these properties.
Therefore, football clubs and football players themselves should increasingly integrate EMS training into their regular training programs. "
Thus, the amplitraining is ideally suited for the individual training program of our players.
